Meet Zeshan Zahid

In 2022, my family and I made the exciting move to New Zealand. I am now proud to be part of the Orthotic House team, bringing with me seven years of experience running an orthotics and prosthetics practice in Dubai.

I graduated from Rawalpindi Medical College Pakistan in 2012 with a degree in Prosthetics & Orthotics Sciences. After graduation, I stayed on as a lecturer and represented my alma mater in various national and international forums. I also pursued a master’s in health informatics and obtained certifications in Cranial Deformity Management from the United States and Scoliosis Bracing treatment from Germany.

As a registered Prosthetist/Orthotist with NZOPA, I have a strong clinical background in managing orthopedic and syndromic conditions. I also specialise in cerebral palsy orthotic management. I am a firm believer in research and continuous professional development. My research work has been published by the International Society of Prosthetics & Orthotics, with invitations to present in India and Japan. I stay updated with the latest knowledge and practices to provide the best care possible for my patients. 

When I’m not working, I indulge in my passions for history, cricket, hiking, and exploring nature through travel.
