We are currently seeking an Orthotist to join our highly qualified Orthotics team. This is an exciting opportunity to join our expanding Orthotic Practice as a permanent Full-time Orthotist. Being based in the center of the North Island, Hamilton is known for its close proximity to Beaches, Bush, Snow and Shows.
Our Orthotic Practice has a selection of Orthotists from a range of countries that bring a wide range of specialty skills to not only our practice, but to share with their fellow Orthotists. The orthotists are complemented by our in-house innovative technician services, creating great outcomes for individual needs.
Our Orthotic Practice offers a relocation package of a $5,000.00 Relocation allowance including payment for the Immigration fees.
The successful candidate that joins our team will have:
- Appropriate Orthotist qualification.
- Clinical experience in Orthotics.
- Work as part of our great team.
- Be personable with an enthusiastic approach.
- Have strong client service skills.
- Good knowledge in Orthotics.
- Have excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
- Have either a NZ driver’s license or the international equivalent
You will be required to:
- Manage an Orthotic case load.
- Deliver a high level of Orthotic professionalism.
- Be attentive to client needs.
- Deliver high-quality care.
- Ensure client safety.
- Operate within the team environment.

What you'll be doing day-to-day:
- Supporting orthotists with basic fittings and follow-ups.
- Assisting patients with simple adjustments and minor repairs.
- Preparing and maintaining orthotic devices (e.g. strapping, padding, sanding).
- Managing clinical spaces and keeping them clean, organised, and well-stocked.
- Conducting client follow-up calls and documenting interactions.
- Helping the team deliver seamless, quality care.
What you bring:
- Foundational knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- A hands-on, proactive attitude.
- Clear communication and great people skills.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
- Background in allied health, rehab, or clinical support (desirable).

- $35/hour. Equivalent to approx. $54,600 p.a. (30 hrs/week) or $72,800 p.a. (full-time, 40 hrs/week). Hours are negotiable.
