Meet Zeshan Zahid
Zeshan is a highly respected Orthotist and Prosthetist, known for his clinical expertise, patient-centred care, and innovative approach to orthotic and prosthetic treatment. Based at Orthotic House in Hamilton, he brings extensive international experience, having practiced in Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates, and New Zealand. This global perspective enables him to manage a wide range of complex cases with confidence and care.
He holds a degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics Sciences from Rawalpindi Medical College in Pakistan, where he also served as a lecturer, supporting the next generation of practitioners. Zeshan’s professional development includes advanced certifications in cranial deformity management (ABC), scoliosis bracing (Germany), and sports and knee bracing (DonJoy), reflecting his commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing learning.
While working in the UAE, Zeshan became well known for his work in paediatric orthotics, particularly in managing conditions such as cerebral palsy, cranial deformities, adolescent idiopathic scoliosis, Blount’s disease, clubfoot, and complex foot and ankle conditions.
Beyond clinical work, Zeshan has played an active leadership role in the profession. He is the founder of the Prosthetics and Orthotics Society Pakistan and a member of the Emirates Medical Association, Orthotics Prosthetics Canada, and the New Zealand Orthotics Prosthetics Association. His interest in healthcare innovation and research further supports his forward-thinking approach to patient care.
